Welcome to Afternoon Tea at Grand Hotel Terminus

Afternoon tea is more than just a break to drink tea - it's a beloved tradition with deep historical roots and an important social activity in its own right.

Ever since the early days of the 7th Duchess of Bedford, the tradition has seen a variety of forms and creative interpretations. Afternoon tea is nevertheless a timeless event that continues to bring people together for a celebration of a quintessentially British cultural phenomenon.

Afternoon tea creates an opportunity to enjoy good conversation, quality time with friends or colleagues, tasty food and – not least – a lovely cup of tea!

Grand Hotel Terminus offers an elegant and stylish atmosphere that is perfect for traditional afternoon tea. Its beautiful lounges, featuring classic design pieces and modern amenities, invite you to relax and enjoy a pleasant break.

A classic Bergen hotel, Grand Hotel Terminus is known for its high standard of food and service. Afternoon tea includes a selection of Harney & Sons teas, delicious sandwiches, scones with clotted cream, and a varied selection of cakes and pastries. Our chefs use locally sourced and seasonal ingredients, providing a unique twist to the traditional experience.

If you want to add an extra touch of luxury, we recommend a refreshing glass of bubbly, which is the perfect pairing for both sandwiches, scones, and cakes. This is what we call Royal Tea. You deserve it!

Afternoon tea at Grand Hotel Terminus is an exceptional opportunity to gather your friends, family or colleagues for a relaxing and enjoyable time. Enjoy good conversation, tasty food, and – not least – a lovely cup of tea.

Oh, it's not easy to choose, is it?

Maybe you should get a wine expert to help? All of the wines are good. But if you want
something extra, I would choose the English sparkling wine -Nyetimber. Who would have thought that England would become the first real rival to Champagne.

Nyetimber was the wine that truly showed the world what English sparkling wine can be. The scent of lemon peel, pastry and chalk. Light bodied, but nevertheless full of yellow apple flavours. Rich mouthfeel, without being heavy

Enjoy!
