The hotel is located right by the train station in Bergen, Bystasjon, the bus station, and the parking garage ByGarasjen. Airport express bus and light rail stops are close by. It's just a short distance to the city's many attractions.
From Bergen airport: Light rail to the Nonneseter stop. Walking distance 150 metres. Flybussen airport express bus to Bystasjon. Walking distance 350 metres.
From Bergen railway station: Walking distance 50 metres.
From the Strandkaiterminalen express boat terminal: Walking distance 1 km. Taxi rank in the quay area.
From the Hurtigruten terminal: Walking distance 1.7 km. You can order a taxi on arrival from Bergen Taxi, dial 07000.

Matbaren serves dishes based on locally sourced, organic ingredients. Open for both lunch and dinner. In the evenings, our guests can order beer from local microbreweries and wine from our bar.

Zander K Hotel offers a venue with a capacity of 100 people. The venue is flexible and can be divided into three rooms for smaller meetings and events.

Room service: Sometimes it's nice to relax in your room and have some time to yourself. You can easily order food and drinks from our room service menu.
Vending machines: Vending machines with snacks and sodas are located on the 3rd floor.
Pets: Pets are not permitted.
Coffee/tea: Our guests are also welcome to help themselves to complimentary coffee and tea.
Service rooms: Service rooms on the 4th and 6th floors with irons and ironing boards.

Reception: The reception is open around the clock.
Cribs: We have cribs available upon request prior to check-in.
Accessibility: The hotel is wheelchair accessible, and we have 25 rooms adapted for universal access. There two handicapped parking spaces outside the hotel. NB: the parking spaces have time restrictions.
Smoking: The hotel is completely non-smoking indoors. There are designated areas where our guests can smoke outdoors. Smoking in hotel rooms or other common areas indoors will incur a minimum fee of NOK 1,500.
City bikes: City bikes can be borrowed from the street right outside the hotel.
The history of Zander K Hotel
Although it is a new building, that doesn't mean Zander K doesn't have a history. The hotel is named after Bergen merchant Alexander "Zander" Kaae (1712-1765), after whom the street where the hotel is located is also named.
Kaae was known as a philanthropist. Zander Kaae's foundation for senior citizens in need, a retirement home for the city's inhabitants, is today located in another De Bergenske property, the beautiful and historic Villa Terminus, just a stone's throw from modern Zander K.
The hotel's nearest neighbour is the recently renovated Grand Hotel Terminus, also owned by De Bergenske. Zander Kaaes gate thus represents the best of the De Bergenske hotel family, uniting both new and old, modern and venerable, in a completely unique way.
