The restaurant Omakase by Sergey Pak in Bergen was awarded a MICHELIN Star in 2025

Each June, the prestigious MICHELIN-Guide announces which restaurants in the Nordic region will be awarded a star. Omakase by Sergey Pak secured its first star in 2025.

The Guide describes the cuisine as, "A succession of superb sushi, anchored by outstanding ingredients and razor-sharp technique." We couldn't agree more!

Chef Sergey Pak, former winner of Nordic Sushi Master Chef, is in charge of the kitchen. The menu combines the best of Japanese cuisine with Norwegian seafood of the highest quality. "The restaurant is part of De Bergenske, which has become a quality institution in Norway. With restaurants and concepts like these, De Bergenske has truly become a phenomenon on the Norwegian food scene. People now travel to Bergen for its unique dining experiences, which used to be quite unusual."

"It's wonderful that De Bergenske's new restaurants in the Skostredet quarter are being noticed and appreciated by food enthusiasts throughout the country.
